i have the same thing going on i can't afford a vr headset and i think it should be played without headset and no controller just keyboard and mouse and monitor and i put a review a few years ago and people where so mean about that so yeah thank you for saying something its a good idea.

why would you want to play half baked vr minigames with a keyboard and mouse? That sounds like no fun at all, terrible idea.

games that are developed for vr only can´t be played any other way and hardly make any sense without a headset... either save for vr or stop checking for vr games that can be played without vr. there are a handful, but that´s it. a lot of vr games are mostly fun because of the interactions (grabing, pushing, etc.), which would not be fun on their own without vr. if you just take a non-vr title and slap vr controls and view on it, well, then you get crap like skyrim vr, which gives you motion sicknes just from watching videos of it.
