As an indie developer, schedules are all but impossible to maintain. Priorities are hard to balance and have been updated according to financial means and popular demand.
Creating new graphical assets (such as female models) is too expensive to consider in the foreseeable future.
There are things about gameplay that need some more refining before doubles can be a thing.
Management features hopefully will come gradually, hopefully not too far in the future.
And at the same time, there is the wish to work on console ports, which would hopefully increase income and give more means to improve the game in all possible ways.
