Edit: So apparently you're supposed to play this game for free on the official website eko.com/wargames because the Steam version sometimes woks and sometimes doesn't. It's kind of weird that this game actually costs something on Steam, though.

The green button is missing in the game main menu. any solution?
From the folder here...
...open this file in a text editor that will preserve non-displayable characters (I used Notepad++, regular old Notepad will probably break something)...
And in there, amongst a slew of "NUL" characters, is a long line with all your settings in it (fullscreen, subtitles, etc., as well as a debug mode that I didn't try turning on since it probably just dumps a bunch of log files).
One of the settings is "disableEpisodeLocking" (with a bunch of NUL characters in between each letter), and it is set to false (again, lots of NUL characters). I replaced "fNULaNULlNULsNULeNUL" with "tNULrNULuNULeNUL" and restarted the game. All the episodes are now unlocked.
...unfortunately, whether because of my inconsistent connection, or more likely due to the way the program is written, I now get the other issue people have spoken about on these forums where the episode will start to play, and then bail out to the menu with a sad excuse instead. So... at least in my case, still unplayable.
Please make a backup copy of the file before you edit it. Probably not really necessary (can probably delete it and have it auto-generated again, but I haven't tested that). Also, there's probably a better tool for editing SQL_Lite files but I didn't need to spend the time to do that, so... I haven't.
