Agreed, but I'd like to add that the animation in Kingdom season 3, 4, and 5 becomes God-tier, and it keeps getting better.

Kingdom might be the most underrated anime in the west, but it's one of the most popular anime in Japan, on par if not even more popular that Attack on Titan.

If you want drama in the period of 3 kingdoms I recommend Three Kingdom series from 2010.
Its pretty great.

lol how is that not the same period? It just happens to have all the same characters doing the same things as the 3 kingdoms story? Its even literally named "3 kingdoms" , the only thing is the jin dynasty part is rushed at the end.

Three Kingdom period(with yellow Turban rebellion as starting event) - 182-280AD
there is almost 600 years of difference between ending of one period and start of another
Its like claiming that Napoleonic wars were happening in the same period as 2nd WW.

Ah, I see, you mean the 2010 series is not the same as this anime. I misunderstood as the 2010 series (Which I enjoyed much and also recommend) not being the same as the game of this thread.
