Can you let AI control your units and army?
^ As topic asks. Like in Rome 2 Total War. I like to sometimes just sit back and watch after setting up the initial deployment.

Some comments in this mod from October of this year claim that it's working fine for 'em. Though I've never tried.

That would be nice. I don't do a great job of keeping track of everyone and once I get my cavalry into the enemy archers it would be nice to just let the computer finish.

I mean you can pause.

From my time playin TW online, on warhammer series games, I recall that having smaller, simple armies was more effective due to managing them, along other reasons. Like stick with few strategies instead of going for several things to pay attention on the battlefield. Obviously in campaign you cant do that, but then there's pause (and slow mo IIRC)

Yes, you are right, there is pause, but sometimes a pause takes you away from the action when you just want to watch.

Don't know why CA decided to take away AI control in their newer games. I hope they revert that decision on their next installment.
I agree, would be cool to just sitback and watch sometimes
