Edit: Seems to be related to the UI, once i remove the UI by pressing K all stuttering stops and immediately resumes when I enable it again
JUST AN UPDATE: So I updated my Macbook to the 10.14.5 (double checked to be sure) and it's giving me the same error message about the software. Anybody else using a Mac to play this? If so, which kinda Mac are you using?
However, I think my config is good enough: i7 3.3GHz CPU with 16GB ram and Iris 6200 (1.6G ram), OS version is Mojave 10.14.5
So, I want to confirm that is it need to have version 2017 up for iMac 21.5"
Weird. Is this happening in other games? what desktop are you using? I know KDE has screen edges that can bounce you out if enabled.
Also, anybody else playing this on a 2016 MBP15 w/ i7 16GB & Radeon Pro 455? Does it run well on this system configuration ?
Bare in mind, this CPU is a 1st generation AMD APU. More like a low-level entry notebook CPU ... from 5-10 years ago. Not meant for PC gaming beyond older titles. These days, all modern smart phones or tablets have a more beefier chip than this.
I can run Tomb Raider, ARMA3, CoH2, TWWarhammer, Shogun2 etc on this thing with 30FPS (lower-to-mid level graphic settings).
Another thing that amazes me is how fast Total War games are loading on Linux!
On the exact same hardware with different OS (Win10 vs Ubuntu 18.04) Shogun2 for example loads btw 0.2-0.3x faster on Linux (ext4) than on Windows (NTFS-/ReFS). (I need other people to confirm this).
This old PC loads TW3K on an equally old HDD around as fast as the Ryzen7 2700x loads the Win10 version from an SSD.
Meaning to say, CA TW engine team & Feral know something. CA packages their data optimized for streaming. Data structures are lean. Concurrency occurs? "Data Driven Design"?
All in all = well played!
my computer Win10 rtx2080 ryzen 2700x
Hi Stab Master Arson,
This game should run on MacBook Pro 2016 models and later. Please check the games system requirements to ensure they match your Macs before purchasing. We hope you are able to enjoy the game.

Hi Eiffel,
I'm afraid we can only suggest playing this game on a supported Mac as listed in the games system requirements. The reason your Mac is not supported to play this game is due to your video card and processor requirements being too low to support this game.
We hope this helps explain the situation.
