Where are the Cataphract units after update ?

I notice that this type of unit is missing in custom after this DLC update. I do not possess the 8 princes DLC. Any ideas?

Cataphracts CAME with the Eight Princes. If you don't have that, you don't get them.

Ergh, no? I have no idea where that concept came from that cataphracts were dlcs, but both normal and heavy versions came with a free update along with the DLC. Just like mounted crossbowmen and heavy mounted archers.
Now xiongnu cataphracts ARE the part of the Eight Princes DLC. But that is a faction specific unit for one of the princes.

Anyway. OP try to check files integrity. Mine cataphracts are still in the game afaik.

I've reinstall, no mod. Still don't see the cataphracts in custom. Are they in the campaign?

They came with the eight prince DLC but were part of the FLC content, so the base game got them free no matter if you own the DLC or not.

as far as OP, they are in the game, try verifying your games integrity via steam.

I can't find them in custom battles anymore either.
