yeah mass archers seem to e one of the biggest troubles
-- He Yi, granted him unlimited heal on battle field
-- Zhang Fei , granted him the shout that give -100 morale hit
With these in mind, the battle become a "rout" game. As long as there aren't any "unbreakable" unit or generals in the enemy troops, all you need to do is "herd" them by running around so their all clump up, and Lu Bu "shout". Instant rout the whole army. With the "magical" 2-defeat-wipe mechanism, all you need to do is attack-rout-attack again-rout again, then the whole enemy stack just disappear on the map.
The more generals on his hit-list he's able to defeat, he stronger he get. He will become faster, more health and hit harder. You can also bring a few units of camp crusher just in case there are some spear units left that Lu Bu miss. Or even some cavalry for unbreakable generals. Does not need a full stack, 3-4 units of camp crushers, 2-3 units of spear cavalry are enough.
you can iamgien how that effects things :)
maybe ill try again and go for him first with some elites
2.He Yi's healing ability
3.Zhao Yun's fattigue immunity
literally makes Lu Bu a one man army, at the most i keep 4 to 6 retinues and that is late mid game, just for the delegate values when i dont want to fight a battle thats pointless.
