Note that CK2 vanilla is quite barebones, but with DLCs it becomes great.
So Paradox games pretty much always win for me against Total War games.
But TW is fun too, its just not the same for me.
TW is a bit of RPG too, especially this part is strong in Three Kingdoms. TK is like the pinnacle of TW-RPG. Because later Warhammer games are over-simplified to safisfy broader audiences, and earlier just doesn't have this much character development.
Three Kingdoms is like the ultimate anime RPG of TW series (not as vanilla ofc)
Well, in TK empire management (economy,development etc) is actually far superior to CKII. What CK has better is characters and their interactions and that's pretty much it.
Good thing he just asking what ones we like best. Who said people don't have both or don't have favourites?
