So yes, it is possible. As for keeping them, yeah you can offset the relationship loss. Just give him a title (the one that raises their salary too, the little button below their names on their skill tree page), a position on your council, positive relations with your leader (adopt him? marry him to someone close?), etc.
So what you're saying is i should spend 5-10 hours on a liu bei campaign because you know that zhuge liang will still spawn after i keep xu shu. I'm gonna need your signature and a witness because this gonna make or break my weekend xD
However, this game is kind of notorious for events breaking due to newer patches, so I wish you the best of luck. If Zhuge Liang doesn't spawn, I'm sorry: this was my best and most recent knowledge.
very kind of you. how do you know this? do you search the game files on your pc? just wondering..
Even if you don't mod, it's still a cool tool to have because you can find out lots of "hidden" info about the game from the database files.
kept xu shu, and probably within 5-10 turns I was prompted to visit zhuge liang. you go e_l_2 :D
i've played the liu bei campaign a hundred times probably and have gotten zhuge % pang tong every time.
