However, we are working on a new game, based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel. This will not connect to the first.

I have spent a fortune on TW games, starting with RTW. Bought 5 copies of that for friends and family. Bought it on digital. Bought 3 copies of Eras-one is still unopened as a keepsake. Bought 2 copies of the Remaster so far. Same story for all the historic titles and all the DLCs for them up to Rome 2. It was after my experience with Rome 2 I finally learned that I should wait for patches and full DLC before buying. This game has been on my wish list for ages, awaiting full patching. I think I will take it off now. It is unfinished and I can't bring myself to buy either this or the new "REAL" 3 Kingdoms after what you just did.

So disappointed in you, CA.

Horrible. The arrogance of these people is astounding. They go back on a promise and then think we're going to be happy they've decided to resell already purchased assets into a new title THAT WON'T connect to the first game? They deserve everything they're getting. CA has become the new EA; they're shamefully out of touch.

and btw why Sima family, Jin dinasty rules in 291? maybe we are missing a dlc where they overthrow Wei and rule as Jin during the actual 3 kingdoms period. Maybe you could explain that in the missing DLC when it will be released. ah, no they won't.

This is the reason. I fully agree. I too have spent so much time and money on this franchise over the last 10 years. A total disappointment.
