Worth getting as a Total War fan?

I see there is a decent sale on right now... and while I have played pretty much all the Total War games (Rome, Rome 2, Shogun, Warhammer etc.) I haven't gone near Chinese genre since... well decades ago I played Romance of the Three Kingdoms but that's not really the same.

Anyway... looking at the reviews for the main game it looks positive so I imagine the nastiest bugs and issues are ironed out.

I was thinking of getting the Warlord version (Furious Wilds, Yellow Turban DLCs)... but is it worth getting the Emperor edition for another 10%?

Some of the DLCs in the Emperor edition have REALLY bad reviews and I don't want to reward a company that puts out rubbish DLCs. Or are the DLCs just overpriced originally.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Another lie from you. I were always asking for bugs that exists in current patch, not on some old patches. Literally no one has ever said that there have been 0 bugs in the game since release.

Again you haven't posted proof of bugs in current stage of the game. You claim that this game is filled bug game breaking bugs, but when asked to prove it, you will post some bugs that have been fixed long time ago. That is dishonest.

For your link. You claimed this is bug that exists in every game that Yuan Shao will be best buddies with Cao Cao. One game where they end up in peace doesn't really prove existence of a bug. However you were manipulative here. You totally left out from context that Cao Cao suffered massive loss against player thus forced them to go for peace with Yuan Shao due to difference in balance of power. Once again your dishonest nature has been proven.

You guys really are tinfoil hats. In fact it's more likely that you guys are some sort of delegated hate bots. No normal person would spend so much time on bashing game that they hate.
