Hi all,

The easiest way is change your game language to Chinese, better in Traditional Chinese, then see them in game or using PFM to open up the list file. Or you can put their English names one by one on internet to search the Chinese names. Either way, I strongly suggest you using Traditional Chinese, Traditional Chinese is far closer to their original name writings(basically the same) and also far closer to the Chinese characters used in Han dynasty and other Sinosphere countries.

thanks man , for me i cant read Chinese from computer screen ( never learn in class before, mostly self taught from Koei games ) . I probably change language to Chinese and copy paste from game file to dictionary to translate .

Can you read Chinese at all, or is it something to do with the screen which messes with you? Because one solution might be to take up calligraphy. Bear with me here. Change the game language to Chinese. Get yourself a whole bunch of large sheets of paper, A4 size ideally, and a big marker pen. Now DRAW, not write, DRAW the names as they are on screen - look at them as pieces of abstract line art to copy instead of language symbols.

Make each copied piece about half of the sheet, then just scribble down the English translation normally underneath in smaller text beneath it. You can then transfer those into normal-size written documents afterwards.

you can try this[www.pinyinput.com]

In case you're wondering, the name of the settlements in game are based on pinyin (Chinese character pronunciation based on English pronunciation). This site just helps you "reverse engineer" pinyin back into Chinese characters.

Thanks everyone, im not that young to go back to school anymore ^^

I'm using this

http://www.vanlangsj.org/hanviet/

For example

Luoyang
= 洛阳

it will give me

Luoyang
= lạc dương

Then I know the equivalent name in my language

That why I want to extract everything in Chinese to Excel file and using this tool to translate
