Timeless characters
Does anyone else think that the Timeless characters option CA have added is actually the best addition to the game to date?

It's personally not an option I would use (I like having the progression of time feeling myself), but I agree with you that giving players the choice to have timeless characters is a good addition. I could definitely see how it would be useful in making Tao Qian a more attractive faction for players (plus the fact that his faction-wide background bonuses got buffed quite a lot).

Yeah, it just means that the majority of the interesting characters they have researched and designed will be around for the whole game to interact with. Including the one you're playing!

I agree, using actual dates puts unneccessary restrictions on campaigns.
