removing character ages?

Who on earth thought this was a good idea? There are extremely simple mods you can install that just decrease the likelihood that they die? Why would they think it's smart to get rid of character ages and instead replace it with turns survived?

gtfo nobody's that dumb. the game still is based off a timeline with events that happen during certain years. this is just stupid and caters to such a small minority of the community. they're implementing the live forever or die of old age option you that you can select, they should just keep the game how it is, and add this "turn alive" feature to the mode that allows them to survive indefinitely

Yeah which is what they do. They just add an ageless mode toggle, on if you want them live forever, off to use current system.

All this is entirely optional. They probably saw those mods are popular and just added the option , probably wasn´t hard to do so. I use no death from aging mods basically all the time und when 110 year old Gongsun Zan charges into the enemies I just think : Good for you , Mister Gongsun Zan. I love how unpopular features always have people whining and whining for a toggle so they can play the way they want to, and then as soon as such a toggle appears people come out of the woodwork to complain about that. Game design truly is a thankless job.

It's an option. Calm your blood pressure. No one's forcing you to use this. Some people just want to play as their characters forever.

They added a option that lets characters not die of old age and if you enable it age isn't display
