Faction heirs with generic appearances.

Once your nicely designed original faction leader dies and the heir takes over they are just generic character models. We seriously need some glitz added to them to make them stand out a bit!

While weaker, I am actually fond of some of the generic heirs and your ability to gear them up with the cool looking legendaries of their class. One example is Cao Pi and being able to equip him with the Garb of the First Sage set, sad though that it is markedly weaker than hero-unique armor that usually covers them up.

That said, I'm sure we'll eventually have most of the important characters their own unique skins and powerful armor, I mean we weren't expecting Li Jue, Liu Yao and Wang Lang to get their own and they were pretty much negligible tertiary characters.

I suspect it’s a case of bringing them in further down the line, they seem to focus mostly on char related to whatever dlc/patch focus is. 2nd gen prolly will trickle in along the way or come with whatever dlc that does the titular 3K.

MTU + Sandbox mod = Three Kingdoms fanservice bliss. You can even summon heroes that don't normally appear in the chosen scenario. Playing Lu Bu and want Dong Zhuo as your heir? Go nuts. Playing as Cao Cao and want to recruit Liu Bei and Sun Jian into yours for the ultimate warlord faction? Why not?

Want to do the world a favor and murder Yuan Shao with the hand of God on the first turn? Fantastic idea!

Maybe start a new faction as Gan Ning on the first turn all the way in Yunnan and raid china as the ultimate pirate? You go girl!
