Game is full of bugs

I'm sorry but it's getting mildly frustrating, the longer i play through a campaign the more i come across things that don't work. It really screws with the flow of things, especially if i'm investing time into something then i come across a bug.

After hundreds of hours i've never encountered anything that bad. What type of bugs are you talking about?

A General having an empty skill tree so he can't be levelled up, this is apparently because he is a duplicate.
Not being able to Coerce with Lu Bu.
There were a couple of other bugs affecting me but fortunately those ones were fixed in the latest patch. But at this point i'm just waiting for the next bug to appear.

there are many bugs that i cannot even play the game even though i really want to.

like Liu Hong warlord influence is broken and doesn't work.

Lu Bu coerce is gone.

sometimes prime minister slot is missing.

cant make peace against alliance wars.

the modding tool is bugged, esp the 182 startpos rendering all the mods related to mandate of heaven dlc useless.

reload gold bug losing 1k everytime u reload.

yellow turban frevor bugs out and stays forever.

all of these are reported, and some are known to CA, dunno if all is known, but the problem something like Liu Hong warlord influence, is broken for like 2 months now? still not fixed, sometimes they take soooo looong to fix a bug, that i get bored of waiting.

1: Han Factions can recruit Yellow Turban generals which results in them having no skills and picture, and I have seen screenshots of Yellow Turban factions hiring Han generals as well.

2: A number of generals now sound like Lu Zhi for no reason including Yuan Shu and Sun Quan.

3:Save files crashing to desktop when loading a file past 100 turns

4: In the Mandate of Heaven Zhang Jue can offer cooperation to Liu Biao before the mandate of war happens, I cannot say this is a bug but since I have never been able to make Yellow Turbans a vassal as Han factions it probably is.

These are just a list of bugs I have currently seen, one only has to look at the forums to see that this game does indeed have bugs, for those who haven’t found any bugs yet good for you it doesn’t change the fact players have encountered bugs.

I thought I was the only one experiencing that bug with most generals sounding like Lu Zhi. My female generals had male voices too .Freaked me out

That aside; I know that some problems (back then I was QA or game-tester for that matter) can occur only on some very mysterious set-ups; back then it was often caused by some Intel-CPU-HW identifier....

But as long as mods are viable and no one is even mentioning those --> caused by mods *point* (because ppl are using them, if not mentioned otherwise and then they complain about issues....sure thing...)

I don't know what your deal is, but game breaking bugs exist. You haven't had them, congratulations to you. I wish you continued bug free play time. But for others like me, the game is unplayable. For example, I cannot load my saved game. Whenever I do, the game crashes and I never use mods. I was about to win a campaign when all of a sudden the game wouldn't load my save file. I lost the campaign, 200 turns in. That is a lot of time wasted.

Checked Valky's games on his steam page. Does not seem to own any DLC for Three Kingdoms. That's something to keep in mind when people like him offer their two cent opinions.

It's worth noting most of the bugs are experienced in Mandate of Heaven, though the save crash might be for all chapters. I haven't crashed on my 190 playthrough, but my 182 does crash.

I had something similar happen to me in battle, i forget exactly what it was but one of my generals was speaking and i remember thinking at the time 'why is he saying that' or 'why does he sound that way'.
