Something the A.I does is they send their unique generals out as spies when I see someone like Xiahou Dun or Yuan I know it is a spy there is no way Cao Cao was defeated so quickly.

Da Qiao appeared on job hunting list so i recruited her and sometime after her sister Xiao followed suit as their faction was destroyed. Bandit Queens faction was destroyed as well.

Thou i was upset Liu Bei managed to obtain Sun Rei before me. She eluded capture and her location is unknown after a battle and destruction of Liu Bei for betraying me in many ways as my vassal by taking her and attempting to take the throne.

Iv recruited multiple legendary characters, which you might consider to be spies. They weren't or i simply was so charming that i converted them with 100% satisfaction. These days they house most of my minister positions by giving me absurd faction-wide benefits.

It used to be the case that Xiahou Yuan was released from Cao Cao's service within a turn or two, making him a nice early catch if you were interested in counter-spying.

Thanks to traits the harmony and disharmony can interfere with historic relationships, in my Lu Bu campaign many of my officers have low satisfaction including Gao Shun and Chen Gong is in disharmony so nothing is out of character it seems.

AI also has the tendency to banish their people, my first run with Sun Ce had him in the recruit pool as he was banished

The only character from Cao Cao's faction who can spy early on is Dian Wei, Xiahou Dun/Yuan do not spy so if they are in the recruitment pool they were either fired or banished.

I forgot now but she wasn't a spy. She never turned on me when I attacked Lu Bu's characters and settlements. Which I thought was interesting.

Though I will say it's very early. Lu Bu's faction is still alive well in this game I'm playing, which is now the year 209 AD.

i just press search agreeable marriage partner which cost 4000,and boom i got xiao qiao with unique portrait and legendary status
