lu bu's "story"

i haven't been able to follow a single characters "story" while playing this game as something goes horribly wrong when i try to.

i picked up the world betrayed and i'm trying to follow lu bu's story. i can bulldoze cao cao down to 2 towns left before the event asks if i want to peace out and work for liu bei. after a few turns i get another one to betray liu bei, but that is it. i dont seem to get any after that.

so just wondering if someone knows a order to do these in or what im doing wrong because i think characters get more than 2 events. i recall getting 6 or 7 on sun jian before the kill sun jian event goes off.

Well historically that's kind of it.. He gets away from Cao Cao and works for Liu Bei, then shortly betrays him too and in response is surrounded and attacked by both Cao Cao & Liu Bei, defeated and executed along with his generals. - if I remember correctly!

Yeah he doesn't really have any more story.

He flees from Cao Cao, betrays Liu Bei, and spends awhile under siege until he gets flooded out and executed.

There's not even really a "he betrays Liu Bei and then tries to do something" what-if scenario- he gets immediately screwed over because chronic backstabbing disorder is condition people take very seriously.

I've had a couple other story lines come up as Lu Bu, but I'm not sure of the triggers. One is your celebrating a battle, rando General offers wine, Bu chastizes him because wine is illegal, you get betrayed. The second is historically accurate in which Yuan Shu pays you to start ♥♥♥♥ with Liu Bei, but I think you need to be independent to get that trigger. Its technically what led Lu to betraying Liu and then getting stomped flat by a Liu-Cao Coalition.

But yeah, historically, Lu Bu doesnt have a long reign as a warlord.

There are some more events that you should get, I had Yuan Shu centred Lu Bu events.
