Watch Three Kingdoms (2010)
really good show characters are fit well and clearly they didn't go cheap on the production, make sure it is the 2010 version tho, the 2018 one sucks monkey balls

Yes a show called Secrets of the Three Kingdoms, it is focused on Wei and Sima Yi. It's actually rated quite high so I wouldn't say its bad.

and another one called The Advisors Alliance, again focused on Sima Yi but this one had an English sub

I'd ask "why Sima Yi?", but come to think of it, he basically won this particular game of thrones.

There's a RTK animated TV series in 2009. Produced by China and Japan. Pretty good.
