Hey, just wondering if anyone understands the pros and cons of trading ancillaries.. Do you accept or reject a request to trade this with another faction?

Up to you. In a pinch they are great and highly desired by AI. So it's great to use it just to tip the scales. They are a plenty in the campaign so as you get new ones or ones you like keep them but trade away the rest when you need deals done. Also good to keep high level ones you dislike for clutch peace deals or territory disputes.

If I need the cash early on, I'll usually sell them when someone offers to buy and it's something minor without a set bonus. I prefer to use them for negotiations though, since straight-out money payments have a cap of +15, a few ancillaries usually give me the edge I need to make a deal without giving up land.

It's a pity you can't see what stats the specific item has before you trade it away. Thanks for that information though!
