When your general dies you lose all his items?

topic, I think I've had that happen to me a few times from old age but seeing as they died from that shouldn't we be able to keep those items?

Im not sure but for me when cao cao died i still had his horse but not his weapon? So maybe its random lol

did they die in battle that you lost? The enemy probably took them. In battles where I've killed enemy generals with gear, i've gotten it. You can also get it when executing a captured general if they have any.

From old age think you have chance to lose things and lose personal named items.

Isn't his sword a "personal" item. Like it's named "cao cao's sword"? Could be why it goes with him.

I've decided that to avoid losing all their items I start stripping all generals over the age of 60 lol
