Cao Ang as Heir

Is there any good or bad consequence of changing Cao Cao's heir to Cao Ang? He's the oldest son after all. He died young (and bravely) which is why nothing much came of him, but there's no reason for him to die in the game. I went ahead and switched it, but I wonder if there's some reason the game has Cao Pi (baby) as the heir.
