How many generals can fit in 1 army?

Started a Liu Bei romance game, and out of no where Zhao Yun shows up. I'd like to add him to my current army of the Big 3, but is it possible, and how do you do it? If not, i'll be disappointed as the battles will be much smaller than in TW's past.

For that matter, is there a way to take generals OUT of your army to spin them off to new ones? Haven't figured that out yet either.

3, and the battles arent smaller, one army can have 4k troops, go to options turn on extreme unit size, and yes there is a button to split off a general

you can have 3 generals per army. you can remove them tho if you click on them one of the small buttons above them should say something along the lines of separate from army or something

i do have it on extreme, i was talking about total number of units, not size of individuals. 3 generals, weak. Hopefully someone mod's that out, and increased reinforcement rates too

Are you playing Records? Generals can have 100 cav bodyguard in Records mode

Zhao Yun is gongsun zan's retainer, Kill Gonsun Zan and recruit Zhao Yun

As i stated, playing Romance mode.

And I've no idea how Zhao Yun showed up. Guessing Gongsun got whacked.

my bad i overlooked it, But yeah the battles will be small if youre playing Romance as youre missing out on about 300 troops

If your disregarding amount of troops and just talking about how many units of troops you can get you can have 21 in your army while in warhammer you only get 20, so its not even smaller in that retrospect.

Nope, Gongsun is alive. No idea why Zhao Yun showed up, but damn glad to have him.
