If ur playing Record well I don't have much explanation for you because afaik women we heavily oppressed around the first century.
Ignore it if you can otherwise you're going to be called a bigot
in agreement with Baanth, yes china historical had female generals but the amount is difficult to say. for the sake of the han dynasty (as the game is based in that time period) there are 2 female generals that were verified but personally i dont remember their names, when they fought and most likely it was just one battle.
you might call it a final solution
There were definitely female warriors, generals etc. The Bandit Queen Zheng Jiang (I think her name is) and Sun Ren (Sun Jiang's daughter and Sun Ce's sister)
It's not atypical to have women being generals or play important roles within China historically either. Women were just as much powerplayers. An abundance might be incorrect but like I said you might have had a one-off. My game had 4-5 of repute.
From what I've seen, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms is full of powerful female rulers and generals. I play Romance mode, so I don't mind that they took some inspiration from the book and broke up the sausage fest a bit.
well like i said i wasnt in disagreement with you. the op question the historical factor of it which you and i can confirm it happened, we just dont know how many there were.
If you are not aware you can "Seek a Spouse" to have a randomly created spouse made. That's what I did for my Liu Bei campaign. Qi Liangshu became a badass woman in my campaign and got my 4 sons. So it worked out well. She also lead the army that defeated Lu Bu
I know you weren't disagreeing with me was just adding to the statement.
Is she unique? I really want to see more. They already can't be Champion class and Vanguard, so vastly reduced. Such a shame for romance mode.
Nope, Qi Liangshu was a randomized generic but her name is legendary with me now. She joined Liu Bei, had 4 sons then proceeded to take over a commandery and defeat Lu Bu in an Ambush. She also became a legendary Commander in my game. She is also best friends with Zhuge Liang, and Zhao Yun. (Two legendary characters from the novel)
Just waiting for my 14/12/10/9 year old kids to grow up. Hope the game lasts long enough.
