Blank campaign map?

I'm about 15 turns into my campaign and when I hit a button in the UI my campaign map completely disappeared leaving only the HUD (diplomacy, etc.)

Any ideas what happened? I tried exiting and loading the save again but the issue was still there. Possible bug?

i have the same issue too. restarting the game does not work. i'm on turn 28 now.

Great...now I don't even want to start another campaign. This is what we get for buying a game on release

The map seems fine to me

have you tried updating your graphics drivers? that usually helps with most graphical issues. if you have, I'd suggest opening a support ticket here: {LINK REMOVED}https://support.sega.co.uk/hc/en-gb/requests/new

It's not the drivers CA_James. Seen this twice now. Randomly happens and saves the game with map completely gone making the game unplayable. You can reload other games fine but when the game map disappears it never comes back.

Played with resetting graphics to window mode , etc. Not sure if they had it happen on the same situation but when a choice pops on is when the map has disappeared.

BTW other then that the game is amazing.

I appreciate the reply, but yes -- drivers are up to date, just checked.

I have the same issue in first campaign so I always Quicksave. This bug is definitely gamebreaking, in my campaign the bug is trigger when Cao Cao's dad died and I believe I am clicking diplomacy screen the same time.

Sadly I don't have that save file.

have this issue as well, it's fine until i get that story quest pop up. Drivers are all up to date.

Doesn't seem to be related to any one faction either...I'm playing as Liu Bei

the same bug happened to me on my first game and it happened around turn 6 or so. i had a save from turn 5 so i just loaded that, but yeah I figure Ill shelf the game until its fixed. It is a bit game breaking if this would happen later in a campaign. I was playing Gongsun Zan.

I saved and loaded the save, didn't fix it
