There hasn't been a previous total war three kingdoms game, so there's nothing to go back to

actually there been several three kingdoms games true not made by total war dev's but in those you could create your own ruler so i was wondering if that was something they where going to carry over to this? Thanks

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XII (2012, Windows) – Also available on PlayStation 3, Wii U (2012), PlayStation Vita (2013) is the one i think that did that

It is quite an interesting thing to wonder if something will "carry over" between different devs and different games. The games share the same setting, and that is all. It's like saying that there should be a "create your own jedi" feature in battlefront 2 because there was a feature in Kotor. I'm not meaning to sound rude or anything, I just don't understand your reasoning for justifying the inclusion of the feature

simple some people may just want to play the game there own way, instead of using a preseleted template.

Going by every total war game ever made. That feature will not be included. Massive fan of the ROTK series, but that type of feature doesn't really fit into a TW game.

Edit: Just additionally wanted to point out that relationships are very important with this game. Custom characters would throw that off. Not to mention there are special events for every faction.

i think this makes no sense. at the end it is a historical game and a game based on a book. It would be weird to have myself in this time or a fictional new person

Wait for Custom Lord creation, there's one for Warhammer, the modder can make the same for 3K if he wanted to

Asks him if he wanted to do it for 3K, its an amazing mod

ok it seems that instead of a premade lord you get a lord that you can mold over time so the best of both worlds nice

It is possible. If CA wants to defeat Koei in the game market related to Three Kingdoms, they need to study the advantages and features of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" series which Koei has been developing for more than 2 decades.
