I do feel though that it's fair game for random generals to have random traits as well.
In time they will learn to like each other.
Is this legit? I haven't tried it. If that's the case, it'll heal my traumatized soul! Dx
That's very fair. I had not thought about it that way. I suppose the edge does keep it interesting. I like that.
Nice! On the battlefield they can become buddies but in the court, rivals. Got it! Thank yew!
In my experience usually they get more negative. But I've never had someone leave my faction because of having a negative relationship with another general. Satisfaction is what will cause generals to leave, and usually you can make it more positive with reforms and ancillaries.
If they are positive and have been together a while and keep strengthening their relationship, they will get the oathsworn buff which I think is a morale boost. I don't think negative relationship will do anything to them. I've had generals go into a rage when another general falls even though the two of them had a bad relationship.
Usually I ignore the negative relationship thing because it doesn't seem to affect much. I always try to put a green general and a blue general in all my armies for spear guards and trebuchets, and it seems like 90% of time I can't get anyone with a positive relationship together.
