Can't leave Coalition with Gong Du(Yellow turbans) *BUG*

So i recently became a king, all the allies in my coalition hated Gong Du but he was my boi. Eventually they all left to form their own stuff and now I'd kinda rather team up with em. But the thing is I cant leave my coalition with Gong Du, it says his rank is too low for ME to leave.....

also sometimes when I give friends gifts ( i.e. gold and food) it ends up causing their relationship with me to DECREASE!!? The heck?

I have the same problem. I am in a coalition with Gong Du where we both hate eachother, but can't leave. I can not use the button to Leave the Alliance, as the Yellow Turbans are "to low in rank". I can not try to force him out, as Gong Du doesn't want anyone joining the coalition.
It is truly like a bad marriage.

The only way around it now is for the yellow turban to capture a victory point or if I play as yellow turban, have the coalition member take the victory point so that they leave the coalition. Its a bug but nothing much can be done until CA fix it

This seems still not fixed in 1.2.0.

Faction rank is too low, text says. Note: I tried this with a previous save from 1.1 but this bug persists. Can anyone confirm if it's still a bug?

This bug has been in since 1.1 and was reported on here months ago.

In my save, I'm at Emperor level or "Yellow Sky Mandate" for the Yellow Turbans and have claimed an Emperor Seat. So my faction rank is not "too low".

The other 3 files, IMO, you don't need. No mods. Everything is stock settings out of the box.

I can confirm this. It happened to me when I played as Zheng Jiang.
It said I couldn't leave the alliance because his rank was too low.
