Will probably never happen since there are no factions to play. People like Cao Cao were just a general serving the Han. As a historical battle later maybe.
They could make it work pretty easily with an alliance between most of the factions rather than them being the Han and scripted events. Even if the events tend to not always pan out.
Considering they're apparently wanting to do timeline DLCs over faction DLCs we might see it later.
The timeline DLC idea makes more sense to me, because if you have played ROTKXIII there are quite the number of events that happened over a period of time. I guess they could be also faction related as well but it makes more sense to me to have them as timeline based.
