I got more unique characters than ever before thou since everyone is coming at me xD
While I got the emperor I can also not become a vassal.
It seems impossible to do apart from perhaps changing the capital to some worthless place and then losing it. Otherwise on hard dificulty it seems impossible to win the campaign. Oh and its not becaause of yuan shao lol. He's rather... tame.
This could actually be it. As crafty as it is ridiculous.
I actually keep the Han because every other faction is so far away from me to fight me and Han outside my area is just causing minor distraction for me. Eventually when everyone like me to declare a peace treaty, they don't even attack the Han, even Sun Jian stop his expansion at the south, leaving a chuck of Han untouched. It's Yuan Shao you got to watch out for, because once he vassal all the major powers, eventually everyone fights you again because of him X.x I guess it's the same for any other faction you play as regardless :/
how about you STFU and read my post?
Yuan Shao is peacful and tame in my game. He doesn't like me but we're not at war. What gets me into trouble is that everyone declares war on my vassal the Han.
Jezz easy there big Dong, I get your Han is being attacked but stick that ♥♥♥♥ back in. No need to be hostile, I'm just offering my 2 cent of my play through and what others are experiencing. No need to get your panties all tied up. If you can't handle it, just restart your game or why bother posting something and asking for replies if you aren't accepting other people's input? :/ So you want to know straight up about your question? Ok I'll answer, don't play as Dong if you can't take the heat :/ Sure you can drop Han and play however you want but what's the point of the question then, you already decided to drop him because he is a magnet for war OR you keep him and take his territory/resources via diplomacy to expand your lands. How you get rid of him? Up to you, have it attack by not having an army there, be vassal to someone, etc. I'm sure you know the mechanics by now to get rid of a vassal under you.
I call it the vassal coalition. It's really just a bunch of his vassals, not really a coalition. I'm not breaking the game because he vassals, he just vassal's too well/too much/too easy. I actually just posted a new topic about it with supporting source being mentioned by Total War verbally about it so you can find that out.
