Moving Units to different generals

Is there any way to swap units around between generals. I want to have all my cav under one guy who i can put all the cav bonus items on but i can only see buttons to convert the different units, not move them to other people.

There should be. In previous games you could have two armies next to each other and click a unit, or hold control to select several, and click on the other army. Make sure you still have action points left. I haven't played this game yet though. Maybe your receiving army is full? But units have been able to march on their own before without a general so select some units and order them away.

You can't move units from retinues -- they're personal to each general.
