Campaign map graphics
Hi there!

Does anybody esle has such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ campaign map graphics?
I have overall high settings with textures on ultra and map looks like in 2003. Rome 1 has a better map graphics.

Is it me alone or something to do with special settings?

Is your campaign map and game 'blurry'? if so. Change your AA option from TAA to "FXAA" vastly improves it. in my opinion

that's because they didnt went for realistic graphics for the campaig mapn. their goal was that chinese artstyle campaign map so yeah not for your taste I guess

I like the map. Mountains are drawn weird but the game is set in china. As Xal said, its chinese art map.

You using Win 10? You should see a difference with Win 10 it looks more in depth or should it shouldnt look like paper using Win 7 Pro. Im pretty sure CA is still messing with updates and graphics for the game.

No, it's because TAA is awful. Literally garbage Anti-aliasing. It blurs lines instead of increasing resolution to reduce jaggedness. In this games case, off looks better because the Jaggies actually make the image look better. Just use FXAA or off. I wish the game had SMAA but oh well. DX12 shouldn't have anything to do with it and that's the only difference between Windows 7 and 10. Make sure Screen Space Reflections are on. Turn texture filtering up as high as you can. Make sure the SSAO box is checked.
