Lu Bu is a mad lad

So I heard stories of how he can kill thousands on his own. It’s true, when I unlocked him I did a custom battle versus basic sword dudes va him alone, killed them all with like 75% hp left, solo dueled Guan Yu and destroyed him (not as lucky when I tried versus 3 of them). Now I’m scared to to see him on the campaign map with. Even with my Liu Bei super pimp army, I auto resolve versus him because he seems like he will just solo most of my dudes. If you get a chance definitely try him out

Playing as the bandit queen, you can marry him in like turn 5-10 pretty easily in exchange for peace and some gear. Only problem is he comes with really low satisfaction and leaves the same turn. Anybody got a solution for that?

Only do that strat when you get to second marquis and then give him an office. The disloyal trait also doesnt really help so maybe go down the red (military) reform to get +sat for red heroes

Guan yu crushes him in a duel , with the "god of war 75k insta damage" , literally one shots him.

It’s 25k and on a 1v1 it seems to do like no damage, thought he was going to get 1 shot. One interesting thing about Lu Bu, is that even when his independent faction gets destroyed, he will randomly show up in other factions, and then take control of them soon after joining

Guan yu oneshots everyone in a duel with god of war. He will even get zhao yun 60% of the time for 1 shoting him before his evasion activates.

Thats his starting skill not god of war. God of war is 1nce per battle skill though. much like zhang feis shout that will just route an army once...

Guan Yu, has a 75k one time use per battle, and a 15k spammable one, they dont do full damage vs lu bu because of armor, but you can try a custom battle duel 1 v 1 and use bot abilities, and lu bu drops instantly, was the first thing i tried before posting :D

Ah, I’ll have to test him in custom, must have not used it when I was just testing lu bu. Currently doing Liu Bei campaign and haven’t maxed Guan Yu yet

Essentially is an out play though... cause lu bu has imobilizing gaze... so if he paralyzes you before you activate god of war I don't like guan yu's chances neither.

it's already been tested and talked about bunch of time which shows how much research any of you do but Sentinels are the best duelist in the game with Zhao Yun being the best 1v1 character in the game ( as it should be ). Lubu is great but only because he starts off with a massive level advantage. Any nobody sentinel with proper skills invested into will beat him melee evasion is just broken.

true, but in a campaign im sorry but nothing beats guan yu on a duel, you can use the -100% evasion -100% armor with an strategist outside the duel, and press god of war.

its an insta kill on anything and everyone. and its not a very difficult combo to have on campaign, its a lvl 5 guan and one strategist....

you need level 8 guan yu for god of war in campaign cause he starts level 4... and has taken the skill reach already which is pretty useful on its own right. Otherwise I agree.
