Lu Bu has no Duchy Title despite reaching Grand Master

I'm kinda disappointed that when I reached Grand Master with Lu Bu, his faction name didn't into a Duchy of "something". Just plain Lu Bu. Wish CA makes a patch for this for every unique warlords, their kingdom name's changes.

They did however change the flag from Dong Zhuo to Lu Bu but still wishing that he has a Duchy name reaching Grand Master

I would imagine that Lu Bu doesn’t get duchy name due to not being a founder of a kingdom which, leads me to wonder if the governors have their own kingdom names.

I know Liu Biao's name is Chu. Yes, Chu. Like Shu. I am extremely sad that it isn't just Jing or something else.

Actually, Chu was the Waring State centred in Jing. Where Liu Biao is centered. As opposed to Shu which was further west centered at Cheng Du.

I know Kong Rong's kingdom is called Qing, which is also the Warring state that was centered in his area.

I imagine Lu Bu/Dong Zhou's country would be Qin?

Current playthrough, somehow, Dong Zhou is still alive and remains an absolutely arrogant goit who names his kingdom after himself: the Kingdom of Zhou.

I also saw Gongsun Zan's Kingdom of Yan at one point, then Yuan Shao took it over. Right before I killed the lot of them.

Kind of a wasted opportunity: Custom Kingdom names. Would've been a pretty simply thing to implement, right?

Then again... Kingdom of Dickbutt wouldn't exactly be all that imposing, particularly in multiplayer head-to-heads.

They won't even let us rename generals or cities, so apparently renaming isn't a priority right now :/

The State of Zhou actually existed around Guanzhong, with the capital in Chang An or Xi'an, where you start as Dong Zhou, so its mostly likely an honourific based on the old warring states general locations as that most of these names come from like Gongsun's Yan is in the North East, Liu Biao's Chu central, Liu Bei's Shu-Han in the west, Cao Cao's Wei in the central Plains etc.

I mean they already had the effort of changing Dong's flag to his when he gets killed, yes? Why not have his own kingdom name? I can imagine if Sima Yi becames the faction leader the Kingdom of Wei, it might get renamed in to the Kingdom of Jin.

That would be awesome in my opinion.

Time constraints? Maybe... but it's a little detail that many would surely appreciate.

They did have to extend the release date by several months, so I imagine they had to throw out a lot of things.
And the game generally seems to lack polish in a lot of areas.

Still a good game though, nevertheless. This is the first time I pre-ordered a Total War game and so far I'm loving it.

I'm just disappointed that some of my expectations in this game was never met.
