Assuming he doesn't serve any worthy purpose in the early part of the game, it is actually good to banish him to get 800 gold more in the treasury.
I mean you could just release him from your service. Point is he always dies so I doubt anyone hires him, so why waste the like 500 or so gold to keep him in your court. Not to mention lose out on another 800 gold. That is about 1300 gold you can spend on building an army or upgrades.
Not anymore, since they make marriages cost 2000 gold?
ive even have cao song get her pregnant before he dies, then after having married her to cao ren, she gives birth to cao ren's brother who will raise as his own child. AHHH ANCIENT TIMES!
Wait... how did you get her to marry Cao Ren... don't people get the "This character is a distant relative" trait that prevents you from having family member marry another family member's spouse or is that only when you divorce them?
Also Cao Ren is Cao Cao cousin isn't he... not his brother... So he isn't raising his own brother because Cao Song is not Cao Ren's father.
might be only when you divorce them? this is all before recent patch. but you offer marriage with cao song to the minor noble, then cao song dies, and again last i checked she is re-eligible for marriage. might have something to do with cao song is joining their family -- she isn't joining yours. you offer cao song, then receive her to join yours wedding cao ren.
as far as the brother/cousin thing -- all i know is (and this might of been a glitch?) it listed a child (maybe not as brother but as a cousin? i mean to say the baby was in the same tier as cao cao, cao ren, and [child name] AND also as cao ren's child (which i assumed denoted it was the child of the woman, not cao ren's seed. ewww did i just say seed!?)
bug or not i imagine this is super rare. and if it isnt a bug, kudos to CA for making that a part of the mechanics. ie impregnation isnt triggering an event (though still filed in the game) vrs. birth being what triggers the event.
Well of course the baby would be on the same tier as Cao Cao, and Cao Ren. Because Cao Song is Cao Cao's father, which makes the baby Cao Cao's half sibling. And Cao Ren's cousin just like Cao Cao.
Lol pimping out your 50 something year old father to a 18 year old girl related to the royal family... sounds like he would have pretty good life before he died.
im saying its interesting because in my case i had cao ren marry cao song's widow who gave birth to the child. im saying it listed the baby as cao ren's cousin AND son (as the child was liu dai's, now remarried to cao ren -- who was the new "father") it just looked weird and i thought it funny how accurate these family trees are.
