Eight Princes Reforms Missing Description
Just tried starting up my first Eight Princes campaign and I'm running into a bug. All of the reforms show their name, and then where the description should be it says "UNUSED". I've uninstalled all mods, verified files via Steam, uninstalled, and reinstalled, but same bug. I've confirmed this happens on multiple campaigns (tried starting several), and that nothing shows after completing research either. I've also verified that the original reforms show correctly in a Three Kingdoms campaign.

Has anyone else ran into this, or does anyone have any other suggestions?

I had the same issue, but I figured out how to fix it. Apparently this happened because in my normal 3K campaign, but last save had the reform "additional descriptions" toggled on (for those of you who don't know, you can click a little button in the reform tree that gives you a couple of paragraphs of flavor text on any of the reforms). Apparently this setting is saved across campaigns, and that eight princes campaign doesn't have any of that flavor text, so it's just blank.

I reopened my last save, toggled the reform descriptions back to normal, saved it again, and now my eight princes campaign is back to normal. Leaving this comment here in case anyone else runs into the issue. Cheers!

Hi I'm also experiencing this issue. All of the reforms on my game say UNUSED so I've no idea what benefits I'm supposed to be getting by researching them. Hope there's a bugfix soon.

Having exactly the same issue. Tried reinstalling the game, as I thought maybe it was a corrupted file, didn't fix it.

This doesn’t work in 2024.
