And that's realistic bacuse Sima Yi was the one who grabbed the emperor seat at the end. All the 3 lords fought for nothing. Sima Yi just came snatching the throne.
This works for the player, the issue is the AI is not scripted to be this smart, so they lose characters that should (at least story wise) be in that faction. Certain characters should have traits that prevent this. I like sandboxing, but I also like some lore immersion as well.
I haven't played a campaign with a strong Cao Cao yet, but it would be cool if he splintered off into a civil war and formed the Jin.
So I am not so sure what is with the legendary generals showing up in my court so often I even saw Xiahou Yuan as Liu Biao.
That is to say Sima Yi was not the most influential politician in Wei dynasty for nothing for a lot of time and Sima family held a lot of wealth, so they were able to defeat the usurper and founded Jin dynasty. The last Wei emperor was actualy alive and well in the end, and also granted a title of duke and good territory in Jin Empire.
Hahahaha, He knew exactly that this would happen, that's why he came to Cao Cao in the first place. He already predicted the future. He was the smartest man in China, so he was not just dragged into the story, but he knew the story in advance. His brain/wisdom surpassed all.
Even you did not notice. I suggest that you watch/read the story again.
You sir, can't be trusted with literature
Do you think every person has the same level of wisdom/comprehension/perception? Just because someone is unable to perceive and you think that the thing does not exist? People have different level of wisdom/comprehension/perception.
For example, students attending the same class, some of them gain 80-100% knowledge from that class, while some of them gain less than 50% of what taught in the class.
I hope you understand it now.
The interesting thing is actually that in real life Sima Yi was originally so uninterested in pursuing a political career that Cao Cao had to literally send troops to force him in to serving at court.
Although I'm not sure about his motivations historically, a lot of versions of seen of he events that led to him staging a coup and taking over Wei paint it in a much more sympathetic light. Where the ruling Cao family had become so disstrustful of him due to their own paranoia that he was effectively forced to take over or they would have eventually found an excuse to kills him.
