Question about Jade Seal
So I'm playing as Sun Jian and gave away the seal to Yuan Shu very early in the game. After 100+ turns Yuan Shu faction is now destroyed, so how do I find back my seal? Just curious.

If they traded it, some other faction could have it.

But, it's highly likely that you'll never see it again. Because, Yuan Shu or one of his top commanders probably took it to the grave with'em.

I've noticed that, one of the biggest mistakes people make playing 3Kingdoms, is trading away unique items for some reason or another. Certain items, especially faction or character specific items (weapons, armor, ancillaries like the Jade Seal etc) are absolutely unique & cannot be replaced.

Those items should never ever, be used to bargain with!

Unless .....you're at the end of your campaign & very, very close to winning.

Perhaps it would be feasible to bargain with, right before you're about to land the final death blow on your last enemy.
A few moves before you destroy the only faction left opposing you & win you the game.

2 Great ways to gather & keep unique items -

#1. Immediately hire any unique characters who wander into your court.
Then, you can simply keep take their unique items.

#2. Vassalize notable factions like Cao Cao & Lui Bei.
Then, (when the character who has the unique item you want, is visible on the campaign map) simply annex your vassal & all their unique items instantly become yours.

But be careful, once you annex more than two factions ....EVERYONE will be wary of you & will treat you like dirt. And, any other vassals you have will look to declare independence ASAP.

See I would love that the seal gives more to the game like how the young emperor is. Like faction leader can be the only one to wear it and having it puts a target on your back like the emperor. Win condition is to make it to Emperor, get the cities and owning the seal to be a legitimate ruler :x

Thing is... It's an early game dilemma, either I gave it away to Liu Biao, Yuan Shu or keeping it for myself, which will anger both of em.

I chose Yuan Shu. I do not wish to fight 2 powerful faction at once. Rather anger one person and ally with the other to help me fight my war, know what I mean?

Honestly as of now, the young puppet emperor aren't really worth the trouble imo, all he provide is Han Empire to be my vassal which is useless and could've forced them to be my vassal anyway without the need of a puppet emperor, considering how weak they are.
