SIEGE QUESTION
how and where and who can dig an hole ?
i dont see any option for this

When you lay siege to a town or a city, you can either build a battering ram for one turn or dig holes for 2 turns.

Digging holes will simply destroy a wall part and some towers as well.

Yes it's done for you. Scan around and look. Also something I've noticed. Larger and thicker walls take more then one to brake threw.
