Imperial Jade Seal

So I am playing as the mighty Dong faction, I was wondering if Sun Jian's faction is wiped out, is there any way to acquire the Imperial Jade Seal? Or does it vanish along with his faction?

Usually not. Ancillaries follow the character so if u manage to recruit a character from Sun faction he could have the Jade Seal on him. It's a matter of luck to track down the person who has it

Another sneaky trick is to trade for it on turn 1( before it gets equipped).
