? about Lex

So i did play date with Lex and i still have a question about their gender. I think they are FEMALE bc my character was male. I read their Fandom and it said: "Lex can be either male or female which seems to be based on how the Player identifies them at the beginning of the game. Regardless, you can switch between male and female for them during an auxiliary sexual encounter". So i tried to switch my character to female and it is no different, even my my character was female i still have a d*ck

Can someone explain more clearly for me ?
