I have been using the Thrill of the fight for about a year regularly. I use it for ftness and developing fighting skills. I have been using VBL lately and noticed some marked improvements. 1. Some, not all, of the AI boxers are staying a good distance away from me.. Some are not. I have only been using the amater level for now. 2
The new gloves adjustments are a lot better. 3. Graphics is a lot better, as well as, the mechanics, physics, and animations.There should be a YouTube tutorial videos on how to box better in your game. for example, where are the critical spots to strike, how to block properly, when to duck, how to push AIs away, and how to get more stars etc. I would do it but I am not good with making videos from steam vr
As of now, VBL is equal to the thrill of the fight in boxing realism . Good job guys. I am impressed. Give me setting control for rounds and break time adjustment, speed and power of AI, using the old man in the gym to do focus mitts with, and of course multplayer mode---- and you will surpass The Thrill of the Fight game. Right now you guys are equal to them! SOOOO soon too!! again very good. Keep it up!

See, I said they ll go full throttle;). Now we just need better, sweat resistant VR Gear. BTW: I recommend cloth masks to use along with sporty VR games

Have they removed the arcade game damage system? All videos looks so unrealistic compared to TTotF that it's not even comparable. How much have really changed from that?

EDit: Ok, update notes tells they have, there's a lot of changes there. If they can actually compete with TTotF I might get this before mp comes, if I can find room in my budget. :D

As far as clear graphics like The thrill of the fight...no..not as good yet. But game play is as good. I feel that the graphics will be there in time. The physics and mechanics are on par. They need instruction videos linked to YouTube on boxing techniques and defensive tactics. I am not judging the mini games for that is not what people want right now. I feel that using the old talkative man in the gym for focus mitts training would be a great addition to the game . This review is from a guy (me) who have been boxing at real life gyms and vr boxing games like The Fastest Fist, Knockout League, and The Thrill of the Fight for over a year. It would be great if they can put the best that these games have to offer into VBL.

I‘d say formula is easy: bring on MP and everyone will be hyped anyway. All other improvements will come without waiting for them because everyone will be busy smashing everones face.

Kunlun Fight is still the best for me. The graphics are way more polished.

I have purchased VBL, which is also amazing. I also really like the training where you punch the dots that randomly light up. Very good for building good reaction time. Will be making a video about it soon.

you are correct!! I have raised some concern about the game and no answer. Creed:rise to glory will beat VBL and they have multiplayer in their boxing game.
