adjust collective with 3 and 4
(also stoopid) how do you counteract torque with the props

New problem ive found: The propellers Refuse to go above 1k RPM. i have no clue why its like this BUT i know its seriously kneecapping me because i don't got the speed and if i try going to 96% or higher, the propeller simply dies and slows down quickly, but anything below that, well its gonna b spinning.

engine:
radial 3 rows 3 per row air cooled
142 bore 197 stroke 8 compression rate
4 valves 26.6
single speed super charger 2.0
turbocharged 2.0
1 manifold
idle thrust .05 mixture 14.97 rpm 7k
flywheel .51

Gearbox:
gears 1 ratio 1.5 final drive 1.5
input Engine .8m

propeller:
scale 2.05
blade type 0
blade count 2
blade length 1
chord .57
root 4 mid 3 tip 4
target rpm 3k

Total weight of the aircraft: 4.86 tons

Sorry if this comment is a bit weird, english is not my first language. Ok so first of all I belive with these ratio your engine is preburning fuel, this means it's losing quite a bit of energy in fuel that burns before maximum compression, you can check this by right clicking on the engine while in flight mode and seeing if it yells at you in bright red 2 (PRE IGNITION XX%) with the percentage varing. You can fix preignition by lowering compression and having a richer mixture, lower values of the mixture mean more fuel per parts of air, basically a fuel mixture of 10 is 10 parts of air to 1 part of fuel. Now your propeller, first of all if your engine is having trouble it will not reach it's target rpm, and also with these values I think you might send the tips of your propeller supersonic, this is quite bad as if you don't know well what you are doing this will significanlty reduce thrust. In a little lower your propeller values you can read it's actual size in meters, this is usefull because it gives you a number to aim for. Let's say your propeller is 3 meters in radius, what you want to do is ensure that the tip of this propeller stays under 323 m/s asl, but how do you get the rpm from this? Well, the angular speed of your propeller is given by the formula w=v/r; where w is angular velocity, v is the target speed of our chose portion of propeller (in this case the tip) and r is the distance from the center of the prop to our chosen point (in our case the tip, wich makes this r equal to the radius of the actual propeller), this gives 107,6 rad/s, online you can find rad/s to rpm conferters, in this case this gives just over 1000 rpm, to make sure I would actually lock it to 1000 rpm though. It's also good to have the tip of your propeller have a way less aggressive pitch while your root is very aggressive, so having 4 and 4 on both tip and root makes the root worse but the tip better. I'm sorry if i couldn't help you much about the engine but the piston ones are still a bit confusing to me, they preignite very easily and have a tendency to suffer heat damage, hope this could help.
