can u start a jet engine from from 0 rpm?

If you have another jet engine you can bleed air to spool it up. I don't think there's an alternative way of starting a turbine apart from flying very fast.

you can hook up an electric motor and a jet to the same gearbox as two seperate inputs. RPM will be shared so you can use the electric motor(or piston engine) to spinn up the engine and then use the clutch to "disconnect" them when the jet has reaced max RPM

I made a turbine and found out it's actually self starting. So it's possible to make a jet engine that starts on its own or in light wind. You can also make a self starting APU to start main engines with compressed air.

You can't disconnect them like this. Gearbox clutch disconnects the output. The inputs stay coupled.
