What Joystick / HOTAS support is there in this game?
Will this support a HOTAS?
Will a VKB HOTAS setup work?

VKB uses a different USB connection for each individual piece of hardware in the setup, it does not daisy-chain them.

What have your experiences been with your various setups?

All joysticks should work as theres no configurations pre made. All you have to do is configure yourself and your all good to fly ! Not all controls are bind-able yet including Landing gears and trim.

not the case for virpil right now. i can tell you that. no matter what I do to try to assign pitch and roll its no use.

Nope, single joysticks are fine. Hotas setups have big issues, the game doesn't do well with multiple axis inputs at all.
