This will be a new kind of event, called a Parallel Event. It will operate similar to the ones Crush Crush has had for a couple of years now.
The short explanation is that you'll have access to a mini-version of Blush Blush for a limited time, separate from your main game, where you'll have a limited amount of time to complete a series of goals to ultimately unlock a new character.
While it's possible to spend diamonds from your main game to speed up the event (even a little can go a long way), it's never been *required* so far in the Crush Crush events, and I have no reason to think the Blush Blush events will be different in that regard - but you do need to use the right strategy, and that's likely to differ a little between the two games due to mechanical differences.
So you focus on getting the token in the reward panel as fast as possible to buy the speed boosts. That's it! Works every time.
