Honest Kitsune Bundle Review

I've been a blush blush fan since 2019 and I will now do a small review of the kitsune bundle. This is just my opinion and you can use it as a base for your own thoughts on buying it. This review is also being written on 6th december and information may change later.

We will go briefly through Content, Aki, Haru, Fuyu and finally, Missed Opportunities.

The kitsune bundle is a $8.99 (USD) DLC for Blush Blush. Buying it is a requirement for unlocking Aki, Haru and Fuyu, the three new kitsune characters. You can kind of think of as each character costing 3$ USD dollars, aka the same price as Cole.

Unlike Sven and Cole, their purchases do not unlock a new feature (Speed Dating for Sven, and Mystery Solver job for Cole). However, similar to Cole, they DO have exclusive dialogue when switching between characters. This dialogue only works when switching from one kitsune to another kitsune (Such as from Haru to Aki).

This small features do make them seem more connected. They're not just three random guys, or three random kitsunes. They're all clan leaders, so it makes sense they talk about each other like this. While they DO have normal talk dialogue about each other, this feature makes it so they dont sacrifice as many dialogue lines to connect them. And in case you're wondering, they mostly ♥♥♥♥-talk each other.

Lastly, all of these characters have the unique feature of turning back into hybrids or into animals. Very cool concept that DOES fit their shapeshifting lore.

At 219 years old, Aki is the youngest of the kitsunes (and also the youngest of the non-humans). This is represented on the fact he has a single kitsune tail. He is the leader of the fall clan.

He is a trickster type of character who tries to manipulate through pranks and tricks. While I enjoyed his early dialogue (you don't usually have blush blush characters trying to scam you in the beginning) I got tired of hearing him say "cursebreaker" over and over. Maybe it was just me, but he seemed to repeat it a LOT when he was a fox.

But once he did fall in love with you, he has some amazing dialogue while still keeping his mischievous nature (He calls you bunny, and I adore it). His dates are cute, although I specially enjoy the Carnival one (Is that an unique marshmallow expression for that one?). Let's just say he wants to order.

His art is nice, and he is the first characters done sideways, but it somehow works. His Butler and Masquerade outfits are FIRE. Amazing! His spooky and summer outfits are also pretty good

Practically double Aki's age, Haru is 459 and a two-tailed kitsune (not that you can tell in his normal sprite.) He is the leader of the spring clan.

I always though Haru was an odd choice for spring. His nip slip + beach bod + flirtatious personality ALWAYS made me think of him as summer. He also doesn't have, as far as I see, anything visually relating to spring. Not even a single pink or Sakura petal. Does anyone else have those thoughts?

Unlike Haru, he tries to flirt you til' you free him. While it is nice to be hit on immediately, it is a bit jarring to see him looking pissed off while saying how nice you are and how hot he is. After the obligatory angry-sprites are done, the only thing that makes it awkward is having a fox rizz you up.

In the story, he is supposed to actually fall in love with you, and his dialogue become more genuine. I don't quite see the difference, if I'm honest. But I always enjoy a boy who wants my marshmallow ass. Speaking of which...

Haru's dates are amazing. I like each of them, and I think his character really comes through. While the Carnival one is the coolest, imo, the Boat Ride does have an unique Marshmallow showing off their cake. (Makes sense, every boy is really obssessed with your rump)

His outfits are...amazing? I think he has the best fashion style of all the boys. I specially think his masquerade outfit makes me weak, but his spooky outfit is so cool. I only wish his summer outfit had more summer-dialogue.

Fuyu is the oldest character of date, at a whopping 1085 years old. He is a 9 tailed kitsune and leader of the winter clan. He certainly looks and acts the part.

His dialogue is prosey and poetic. While his main tactic is to...tell you do break his curse! He thinks you'll obey his orders as a super OP fox boi, but you don't, so he just quietly sobs a bit before you kiss him. Then, he is back to hybrid! And much happier!

His dialogue becomes a lot more cute when his icey heart thaws, and he even reveals he wants to be an actor. Not something I personally envisioned for him, but you go boyfriend!

His dates are so nice with his huge tail, but become a lot boring when all that floof is gone. My favorite is...probably the boat ride. I love his umbrella!

His outfits are really good! But still comes second to me after Haru. Still, I give him as one of the most stylish blush blush boys.

- I love that you can switch between animal and hybrid and human. I only wish these swaps somehow showed up in the dates form! (Such as wearing hybrid outfit would lead us to seeing a hybrid date).

- I do wish there was one big pinup with all three kitsunes. Maybe showing after you got fuyu to lover +1? It just feels a little anticlimatic!

- Fuyu's poke face is...weird. His default sprite is licking his lips, looking hungrily at you. Then his poke sprite he looks like he doesn't even know who you are. Peronsally, I think his "default" sprite is soooo more appropriate for his poke sprite.
