All right, so there's soft reset in the Stats tab, and then there's hard reset, found in More tab. You never want to hard reset, but you should soft reset quite often in the beginning, like several times a day. Yes, it will reset your progress with the guys, but you'll get to the same point a bit faster the next time, and then you won't have to wait as long to get further.
No, what that means is you have to have 15 reset bonus amassed. You get some reset bonus from every soft reset, and that is what makes your bars progress faster. Once you have that 15 reset bonus, Dmitri's requirement for it will show up already completed.
You can use speed dating right away.
I'm not sure about this one, as I've never used a time skip, but since you're skipping time, I'd expect you to get all the same benefits as letting time pass normally.
No problem, we were all new once :) As for tips, first I'll just reinforce that you should reset often in the beginning. When it takes longer than half an hour to bring any guy to the next level, reset. You only get more reset bonus from completing full stages, not completing single requirements.
My second tip is to save up your diamonds for the permanent speed boosts in the shop. Those will make a huge difference, as they multiply your reset boost.
Third tip: if you have enough time blocks to complete Limited Time Event tasks (accessed from the top right), do it, even if you have to pause hobbies and jobs to do it. (Time blocks taken by LTE tasks will show up as taken by dates, just so you're not confused - a lot of people have asked about this.) The diamonds especially will be helpful, and once a week there's a task rewarding a new time block. Lesser rewards include hobby and job skips - once those tasks are done, open the LTE window to free up the time blocks, then close it before claiming the reward, and then put all your time blocks into jobs or hobbies, whichever you're getting a skip for. Only then claim the skip.
Aaand one last thing: when you're planning to close the game, first wait for the autosave to complete (characterized by the Saving... text disappearing from top left), then hit the Save Game button in the More tab, and only then close the game. This can save you a lot of grief related to lost progress.
Hopefully this answers all or at least most of your questions, but if not, feel free to keep asking. Have fun :)
Regarding when a boy says they require a boost to progress that Level, there are two different types. You've encountered one. When it just says [Number]x Boost, that means you need to have at least that much, but it doesn't consume it. When it says Consume [Number]x Boost, that means it CONSUMES that much of your current reset boost. You'll encounter this at every 10th Lover Level (needed to progress to the 11th, 21st, 31st, etc.). On some of them, you'll need to acquire a few more Lover Levels to make up for that loss. On some, however, you gain it back with the next one (added to the on-reset, not active).
DO NOT buy the permanent 8x Speed Bonus. Save up for 230 Diamonds and buy the BUNDLE that gives it. Unfortunately, it DOES NOT remove that from the bundle and decrease the cost of the bundle appropriately, so if you buy the 8x Speed Boost, the 230-Diamond Bundle that gives it is much more expensive than buying what's left individually.
Yes, you can get out of a soft Reset, done by spending Diamonds. At the reset zone, you'll see the ability to acquire the accumulated boost without resetting. Don't do it at the start if you're playing free (not buying Diamonds from the shop) - you'll want to save your Diamonds for later.
There will come a point where you will spend several days on a run (think when you're at the hundreds to thousands of Reset Boost). This is when using those Diamonds for acquiring the boost without resetting is better. If you're playing free, this is when you'll want to use them.
Regarding the LTEs (pinups and boxers right now), it currently takes 2 weeks to get through one. Each daily token reduces the cost of it by 10 Diamonds. If you collect all 14 tokens, you'll get it for FREE. If you don't manage to collect them all, don't worry - you can buy it during the next Event using Diamonds based on how many Tokens you collected for its own Event. If you don't buy it then, then you're out of luck on getting it - for now. In their other game like this (with gals instead of guys), they return the LTEs after awhile (something like a year, I think? My brother plays it, not me). So if they do this game the same way, then anyone who plays long enough will get everything.
I guess you can copy everything on this thread to a text file and save that, or save a link to this thread. I don't think there are direct ways to "save" a post.
Just making sure you got some things right, though: you're going to want to reset often during the first few weeks at least, not just the first day. Volks is the second guy and thus shouldn't take very long to get, but Scale is among the last guys, so yes, acquiring him will take a time frame comparable to "forever."
Also, most of the people who have completed the game at this point have been playing since beta. Our progress was never reset.
No, there's no in-game purchase for autoclicking. The clicking can become quite a lot, so I'd recommend an autoclicker - you know, before you wreck your mouse and/or hand :)
I use OP Auto Clicker 3.0 myself, it works on Windows, it's versatile enough yet easy to use :) And it's free!
I've suggested to SPS that they add a DLC "Speed Talker" boy. There other game doesn't have one, so it's unlikely, but the hope can still exist.
Thanks! :)
if I would want to invest in diamonds, how do I pay?
Normal over steam with my balance or in an other way?
And the third party who is involved does anybody know which one it is if you got the game on steam?
Because I read for mobile there are quite a lot.
For Browser it is Humble Widget when you want to purchase DLC´s, who has in Germany a very bad reputation of scamming and giving no goods, sending e-mails none stop etc.
And collect browser information and other non related if you are not carful.
Than I read that the currency and goods are from Sad Panda studio?
Is it true or not? I fell very unsure...
And what shocked me the most in their own side for Terms of Service this:
Copied from Sad Panda:
10. These terms transferring
We may wish to transfer all or a part of our rights or responsibilities under these terms to someone else without obtaining your consent. You agree that we may do so provided that the transfer does not significantly disadvantage you. You may not transfer any of the rights we give you under these terms unless we first agree to this in writing.
so does that mean... in short they can do what ever they want with my personal information (that I don´t even share with my friends) but I have no saying in anything I am not even informed so that I can tell them to delete everything bevore they give it to the next "who ever it is...?"
Through the Steam overlay with your balance.
Humble is only involved for the Panda Pass, available on https://sadpandastudios.com/pandapass.html.
If you're in Germany, that's the only way to get the 18+ DLC, since Steam can't sell it here (for... reasons). But I also live there, and I've never had any issues with Humble, so I can't comment on this supposedly bad reputation.
You can't buy the BB DLC on its own through SPS, but the Panda Pass is a one-time fee that covers all games they have and will make - so Crush Crush, Cabin Fever and Hush Hush are also covered if you're interested in those.
It's all standard legal text that they have to put just in case those things ever come up. By default they don't get any real information to begin with, so there's nothing *to* share.
I've been enough in touch with them to know that they're all good people, and not out to do anyone dirty. There's no need to worry about supporting them. :)
