With everything maxed, it will take years to reach Lover +100 with all the guys.
I am starting to loathe this game and am sensing a level of contempt from the developers for the players.

I have maxed everything. I have maxed the hobbies and I have maxed and boosted/gilded all of the jobs. I have attained the 14,000 reset speed boost multiplier. I have all possible achievements. I have reached lover +100 with all the guys except Scale and Sven. However, despite that commitment and with everything boosted to the maximum possible extent, it will literally take years of play to reach lover +100 with with both Scale and Sven. The amount that must be earned to add even a single +1 with Sven exceeds the total economies of all countries on Earth. The total that I have earned in 8 months of play with everything maxed would only be enough to get Sven to approximately Lover +3 out of 100.

It seems that rather than creating interesting new challenges for players, the developers have simply put up a wall that is impossible to pass and that would burn up years of time from their players.

Years? That can't be intentional... They have to have plans that will make Sven able to be completed in a more timely manner in the future. Such as a new job or two.

I'd nonetheless like to hear what the Pandas have to say about this.

I'm nowhere close to any of this, but have you gilded any of the jobs? And I assume you've maxed out all of the hobbies. I just want to see if this is with all jobs maxed out, gilded, and running congruently. If it's not at that point, then there is something more you can still do.

Yes, there is literally nothing left to boost or gild. I have reached maximums with all the hobbies and I have gilded all of the jobs (which all run constantly - I produce just under $5 trillion per second). I have hit the 14,000x reset speed boost. I obviously had enough fun/interest to play a lot, which is why I was so disappointed to discover that the developers inserted insurmountable time constraints that effectively make finishing the game's current challenges impossible. The game used to be a fun time diversion, but I have no desire to still be trying to reach lover +100 with Sven in 2031.

I'm having the same experience, I even made a thread about Sven and his ridiculous requirements for Lover+ levels too. In the current state of the game it will take literal years to reach +100 with Sven due to the absurd amount of money required at every level. Maybe in the future if they add DLC boys that include new jobs (like Charlotte from Crush Crush), the super long waiting time for progression could be chipped off. Otherwise there's no hope for us completionists. Except for cheating of course, but there's no fun in doing that.

Edit: I saw you mentioned Scale too, but his requirements aren't as much of a problem for me, took me some months but I am finally at +90 with him and saved enough money to complete him, I'm just lazy to get all the hearts :P. The REAL problem is Sven's requirements imo.

Hey Panda peeps! OjiPanda here.

I wanted to dip into this thread really quick to let you know that we definitely are going to be making some balance adjustments for the game's harshest achievements.

I'm super sorry that this has gotten to the point of, "...Are the developers being jerks on purpose?..." sort of territory. We've just been super focused on some other urgent stuff, but we plan on regrouping on this feedback soon.

How soon is soon? Ummm... It's a little hard to say. But I'm hoping we're just talking like a month or two?

And just as an FYI - there's a whole process involved with determining just how difficult the game's hardest achievements should be, (basically how hard is it to complete that last 1% of tasks) and I try not to aim for ridiculous or physically impossible ranges. There's this fine line between tasks being 'herculean' and 'frustrating' and I tend to find my patience for these things is tuned higher than most people.

We really appreciate your feedback, and sorry for being a bit quiet on this front. You guys have been heard for sure, and we're already talking about the adjustments we want to make. (We just need a bit more time.)

Thanks everyone, love you all so hard!

To be perfectly honest for me Blush Blush stands on its silly writing and its artwork but aside from the early game it's really not as mechanically engaging as some of the other idles out there. Or if you'd like to frame it more positively it is a very laid back game. I'm not particularly bothered by the Sven requirements because while I'd like to see him capped I'm not superinvested in doing it in any foreseeable future and while rebalancing will make him more achievable it will not change the underlying character of the game. To be clear, there is nothing wrong with keeping the game this way but currently it is very easy to reach a point where the mechanics (aside from dailies) simply cap requiring no further interactions from the player.

I agree that Scale is not nearly as bad as Sven. If Scale's cost-scaling and time-scaling were the worst that it got, I'd possibly stick it out. However, presently I have less and less interest in taking time out of my life for a game that puts up such an insurmountable wall toward further progress.

I see that Oji Panda replied shortly after your reply that they are planning to make some balance adjustments. We'll see how it evolves.

Cheers!

Well, one balance adjustment is already present as they have just released Cole, whose bundle comes with a new job. Maxed, that job's income is more than double the previous best job's income. Granted, the bundle costs $3, but what is $3? A cup of coffee?

True, this new job should help make it easier, but though it's just $3 for you, the conversion to other countries currencies makes it not as cheap (my case), but I'm still getting it soon.

Sven himself still needs rebalancing though, so I'm glad the pandas said they are working on that!

i'd like to see reset boost getting into the daily task pool. i started at 14k, but am down to 13.7, the hobby time skips are useless to me, but if we went to a 1 in 3 thing, job skip, hobby skip, 1 point of reset boost, that would be a huge help

I like the game but it will take years to finish it how i feel and i like the new dlc and characters but it a game you have to spend money and it doesn't get you far and it will still take years to get far in the game or close to finishing it.

Guess hell has not frozen over yet, maybe next year.
Well, your wish didn't come true. I've spent a lot of money on this game. I'm only missing two of the guys. And I've bought all the dlcs. The most recent being the kitsune. I have also bought the multipliers and skips and I'm still having issues finishing sven, poe, and now the kitsunes who seem to be just as bad as both sven and poe. I have gilded every hobby and job. All hobbies and jobs are max level. I have max reset boost plus a x64. I have bought the time lord boost several times. And I think I've played the game for 3 years and step in periodically when I see a new character to master...but....why? I love the game but this really makes me sad....

I appreciate all of this (seriously, thank you for responding to this thread, I am excited that you are working on this problem). I do second the OP's feedback - I suspect that Sven and Scale might be a little bit too difficult at the moment. I have 20k+ hours playing the game, I have maxed all the boosts and have an obscene amount of gold. And I am at 2+ lover for Sven and 1+ lover for Scale. That is insanity and probably the hardest achievement in any game I have ever played. And I went through a period where I was intensely into Dark Souls.

Considering they posted that four years ago and the balancing hasn't changed... I wouldn't be too sure that they're working on it.
